THE Yin and Yang is the symbol representing the two fundamental principles of Chinese philosophy . Complementary, they represent duality: the two extremes of a whole and coexisting together.
8 trigrams (the lines) and the Chinese writings represent the principles of TAO .
All of the bigrams correspond to the four Orients and the four seasons representing the basis of the I Ching (the book of mutations).
